Frequently Asked Questions

Which Ganancias values does this calculator use?

It uses the ARCA tables for the 2026 annual liquidation: ganancia no imponible AR$ 6,019,671.36, deducción especial for employees AR$ 28,894,422.56, spouse AR$ 5,669,323.06 and AR$ 2,859,060.31 per child, and the art. 94 scale from 5% to 35%. These equal 12 times the monthly values in force from 1 July 2026 (second-semester IPC update). Withholding from January to June 2026 used lower first-semester values (for example ganancia no imponible AR$ 429,316.88 a month instead of AR$ 501,639.28), and the difference is settled in the annual liquidation. The next update takes effect on 1 January 2027 and is not included.

How much are the employee aportes?

Employees pay 17% of their salary: 11% jubilación (SIPA), 3% INSSJP (PAMI) and 3% obra social. They are charged on pay up to the ANSES base imponible máxima, which is AR$ 4,861,685.38 a month for salaries accrued in November 2026 (Resolución ANSES 304/2026). The cap is updated every month, so earlier months of 2026 had a lower cap; this calculator applies the November value to the whole year. We confirmed this cap from published copies of the resolution rather than the Boletín Oficial page itself, so check it against your recibo de sueldo.

How is the aguinaldo (SAC) handled?

With Include Aguinaldo ticked, a 13th salary equal to one monthly salary is added (paid in two halves in June and December). It pays aportes (each half capped at half the base máxima) and is taxed by Ganancias, and the deductions are increased by one twelfth, as ARCA’s tables provide. In the monthly view the yearly result is divided by 12, so the aguinaldo is spread across the months.

Who can I claim as family dependants?

You can deduct a spouse or partner (cónyuge or conviviente) and children under 18 (or unable to work at any age) who live in Argentina and whose own income is below the ganancia no imponible. This calculator assumes you claim 100% of each child; if both parents work they may split it 50/50 instead. The higher deduction for a child unable to work is not included.

Is this an official ARCA calculator?

No. This is an estimate, not official tax advice. Your employer’s monthly withholding (cumulative under RG 4003), union dues, deductible expenses such as rent, prepaid medicine or domestic staff, and changes to the monthly ANSES cap all affect the real figure. Check your recibo de sueldo, your employer’s F.1357, or ARCA and ANSES directly.

Does it include employer contributions or provincial taxes?

No. Employer contributions (contribuciones patronales, obra social and ART insurance), the 2026 reduced-contribution schemes for new hires and the new Fondo de Asistencia Laboral are not included, and Argentina has no provincial tax on salaries. Cuota sindical and other voluntary deductions are also left out.
